@ScholtzR about the reading from the strap, there is something wrong with the strap. Without knowing the model I would not know what to suggest, except to change batteries.
About the issue with the OHR, there is no place in Suunto that I know in which irregular heart rate is detected, there are no health features of this kind. And it is possible to turn off the OHR module during activity from the start screen, and in daily mode disabling H24 monitoring.

@michaeldwilson I will do so by the end of August. Now almost everyone is out on vacation. The sensor does not shut down (no zero reading). Instead it seems having a hard time reading the HR and for as long it keeps the last read value.

@andré-faria the memory feature is just for Suunto watches, for the rest it’s just a standard bluetooth hr monitor so it’s compatible with lots of devices.

@Łukasz-Szmigiel Maybe you are right. I hope (both) bug(s?) will be fixed soon.

Definitely not the only one with this problem

This is a recording of a mountain bike ride. As long as I climb at a steady pace, the HR works well, but when I change pace, do a technical climb or descend the watch struggles a lot.

Just a hint: As I have seen or read other posts, mostly spo2 is just to see weather you are getting sick (I am that type with a bit astma and currently is winter time with Snow, so I am expecting some problems 🙂 ) and also might help to detect sleeping apnea (you can realize if you are snoring) if this all day/sleep time monitoring is applied.
